Il’ll never know why but I’ve allways been looking for new ways to make my life more complicated. One of these ways is for sure my band, Seditius.

In early 2005, after several punk rock line up, Psycho Lorenz and I asked our school mate Mat and Psyhco’s brother (mr Doctor Gore) to join our upcoming band. After 3 months, the 1st show. In that show we met Chiodo, a friend of D. Gore who liked us so mutch that the next week he wanted to listen to us while training. Chiodo was the typical squatter and yes, we love squats. It was the missing Seditius’ member.

With this line up, we recorded with Mike Barakus our first four songs in summer 2006: the Kamikaze Demo. 200 handmade copies totally selfproduced went out of stock.

Two years later, in early 2008 with the same line up, in the same “studio”, drinking way more beer, we recorded our first album, No Lesson Learnd. 13 fast and loud songs. Produced by Tornado Ride Records and Jaded, the album has been good reviewed everywhere.

In october of the same year, Chiodo and Doctor Grumo left the band. Pros a.k.a. Nerchia and Apu joined the band. Pros plays bass guitar and Apu hits the gas behind the skins. Psycho Lorenz now plays rhytm guitar and yes, we are still friends with D.Grumo and Chiodo.

In 2009 after sharing the stage with bands such as D.O.A., Cripple Bastards, Skruigners, Bible of the Devil and many more, we released a 7″ split with Antares out on a D.I.Y labels conspiracy. Our two song on that clear orange vinyl were recorded at the Cellar Door Studio in Milan by Gianluca Amendolara.

Right now, we are working at our second full lenght album, out hopefully in spring 2010.

Italian Bio:

Non sapromai perchè, ma sono sempre stato alla ricerca di nuovi metodi per complicarmi ulteriormente l’esistenza. Fra questi, sicuramente c’è la mia band, i Seditius.

Ad inizio 2005, dopo un tot di varie formazioni punk rock, io ed il Lorenz ci presentiamo dal nostro compagno di scuola Mat e dal fratello del Lorenz – il dottor Gore – e chiediamo ad entrambi di far parte della nostra band. Da li a 3 mesi, il primo live. A quel live, in un pub squallido gestito da un idiota ma con una barista veramente notevole, incontrai per la prima volta Ruggge a.k.a. Chiodo Braulio. Li piacemmo così tanto che la settimana dopo ce lo trovammo in sala prove. Benchè non sapesse suonare quasi per niente la chitarra, era il sedizioso che mancava al gruppo. Arruolato circa 20 minuti dopo.

Con questa line up, nell’estate del 2006 registrIamo le nostre prime quattro canzoni da un nostro caro amico Mike “Michelino” Barakus: il Kamikaze Demo. Stampiamo, tagliamo ed incolliamo 200 copie di cui ci sono rimaste ormai praticamente solo le nostre copie personali. Autoprodotte, ovviamente

Facciamo un tot di live, in realtà non tantissimi, e con la stessa line up, nello stesso studio – qualcosa di simile ad una ex stalla -  ma bevendo un bel po’ di birra in più registriamo il nostro primo album. Tredici pezzi, sempre registrati sempre dal buon Mike Barakus, prodotti da Tornado Ride Records e Jaded, che hanno ricevuto buone review un po’ ovunque.

Arriva l’ottobre dello stesso anno e Chiodo ed il dottor Grumo lasciano il gruppo. Niente liti, niente rancore: la vita comporta delle scelte, e queste scelte fanno divergere od incrociare le nostre strade. Cosi, con il dottor Grumo non più dietro alle pelli e con Chiodo che non imbraccia più la sua chitarra perennemente a cinque/quattro corde, il Lorenz passa dal basso alla chitarra ritmica e nella band entrano Nerchia al basso ed Abbo alla batteria.

Nel 2009, dopo aver aperto a gente come D.O.A., Cripple Bastards, Skruigners, Bible of the Devil etc, su consiglio del nostro amico Carlame,  ci fiondiamo da Gianluca Amendolara al Cellar Door studio di Milano per registrare i nostri primi due pezzi con la nuova line up. Finiscono su un settepollici arancione trasparente split con gli Antares, band veramente notevole delle parti di San Marino / Rimini.
Lo split esce per una cospirazione D.I.Y. di ben 15 etichette. Ad oggi a dirla tutta non è che siano rimaste troppe copie.

Ora come ora, stiamo lavorando al nostro secondo album, che se tutto va bene esce in primavera.
